KEEP LEFT BOLLARD

Keep Left Bollard
Since designing the worlds first complying LED Keep Left gear tray over six years ago technology has moved on in leaps and bounds.
Today we have new LED's being presented to the market by Far Eastern companies every day so choosing which LED to use can sometimes be difficult.
Every company issue Lumen or light output figures, but choosing the right LED for the application you have is critical.

Leda Lite does not always use off the shelf drivers, sometimes we use old fashioned methods to drive LED's,so we can build in provision for over voltage. For instance the Omnidirectional beacons we have on Terminal 5 Control Tower at Heathrow will withstand a 400 volt spike, although they are 240 volt mains driven.
Experience tells us that electronic drivers do not do what they appear. They overdrive LED's making them too hot, lose intensity and are not very good in sub soil conditions, such as Keep Left Signs, which is why we do not use them.

Our systems are simple, easy to fit and are very well proven. Over 500 Keep Left signs and some 5,000 Belish Beacons and Sign Lights installed, we think we know what we are doing.

So before you purchase your next LED Belisha Beacon, Keep Left sign gear tray or Central Reservation light, give us a call first.
We know we have the answer to your problem.

Base Unit
Leda-Lite produce base units that will adapt to bases manufactured by Signature, Siemens, Cheshire Coatings, Pudsey Diamond and Haldo.
The base units can be angled so that the LED lighting is concentrated on the roundel(Arrow), which in turn lights the rest of the bollard internally and thereby complying to the regulations.

Led Keep Left Gear Tray

Six years ago we were the first in the world to manufacture and sell an LED gear tray that complied with the traffic regulation for Keep Left Bollards.

Since then we have produced hundreds, all around the country and abroad, which to our knowledge are all still working.

Over this time LED's have changed. Lumen output is far better, brighter whiter and there are far more attractive LED's on the market.

Now we have mains LED's which do not require drivers to drive them. ie; drivers, resistors, power supply etc.

In addition to this we have been able to lower the power consumption from 40watts including the power supply to only 14 watts. Thereby giving a cost saving of over £32 per bollard in power alone.

As you can see the new gear tray has only 4 LED's. At 150 Lumen per LED, only draining 12 watt.
The LED's are 110o and do not need to be angled.
