General Description

The Leda-Lite Portable LED Beacon unit is designed to provide 12volt DC to a load for up to 60 hours. The duration can be extended if, either a partial load is driven, the load is used intermittently or a smaller load is connected.

The internal battery is recharged in 24 hours. A dedicated IEC mains cable is supplied with the unit. A fuse of 3 amps is fitted to protect the charger. The batteries fitted are cyclic sealed lead acid 14 amp hours.

When the mains supply is connected, the charger starts to replenish the battery and disconnects the load.

The number of cycles form the battery is determined by the load being drawn and the end voltage when the load is disconnected. From full charge to full discharge the battery will offer approximately 350 full cycles before needing to be replaced, which is about 3 - 4 years, when using LED's.

Various additional features are available on this product and these include, on/off load switching, light activated switching, battery monitoring, boost charge timing and photo electric cell for automatic switching.

This range of units offers a versatile way of providing power in the absence of the normal mains supply.

Should you require the LED Beacon to be at a higher level, we can fit the beacon to a 60cm conduit. This then makes the beacon more noticeable from a distance and not merge into a background or be concealed by notice or instruction boards.
